A Church Guy

Today while driving home Theo, who is 10, was talking about what he wants to do when he grows up.
Hunter, who is six and in Kindergarten, shouts from the back seat, "I want to be a church guy like dad" (he meant a pastor, but for now we will call it " a church guy")

Theo looked at me and smiled!

Oh, that is precious! You and your church guy must be doing something right with that one!

I'm STILL smiling!

So wonderful! Growing up a minister's kid, I know what some of the sterotypes are. I love that he is "breaking the mold." I hope that my children will also do the same--continue to love and want to serve the church just like dad.

Robby wants to be a "church guy" too. He says he wants to be a pastor so he can work with Dad everyday!!! I truly hope he always feels that way.
