By wisdom a house is built,
and by understanding it is established;
by knowledge the rooms are filled
with all precious and pleasant riches. Proverbs 24:3-4

I'm at the Cafe today
Do you have a quiet place?
Come find out why I am asking by joining me here today.
I've been thinking about this post since yesterday. Thank you so much for posting it.
And I want you to know that earlier this week I carried my kicking and screaming two and a half year old to the car. Barefoot. It seems that boots are optional this year. Coats too. *sigh* Toddlers.
I have a new quiet time~I've been working on that precepts study while Emily is napping and the boys are in school. I love it and really look forward to it. I see that Jesus got up really really early. And the Proverbs 31 lady woke up really really early. And I have such a hard time waking up really really early...but sometimes I think I should, that way in case Emily doesn't nap well I won't miss out on my quiet time, and I'd be making that the first thing I do in the day.
Ann, For years my quiet time was doing my weekly bible study while my kids napped. It worked well and the Lord did a great work in my life during those years. I wouldn't change it right now if it is working for you.

I'm always thrilled to find you at the Cafe.
Less than thrilled with the conviction I felt. . . . :-)
Have a blessed day, my friend!

Love this post, Chris. Oh, how I can relate .. busy mom and something always distracting to pull me away ... (sigh).
Happy Weekend.
Ann,

Blessings to you!
Oh, that's so good to hear, because I am just not a morning person. I would have such a hard time focusing on this study that early in the morning.
This study is incredible! On Tuesday I'll meet with the group for the first time. I'm pretty excited about it.
