Those of you IRL (in real life) who attend Tuesday morning Bible Study at church and maybe stop by here occasionally...I am so sorry!
The weather is just not cooperating. This morning I was hopeful that school would be on the normal schedule, but no not today, we had a two hour delay. hey, that rhymes
I was sooooooo looking forward to getting together this morning. I wanted to stomp my foot like a little child and scream, "nooooo, it's not fair!"
So, here I sit with my homework completed for two weeks in a row, hungry to feed on His word in the presence of the sweet ladies who are so faithful to attend.
This is our fourth cancellation since we started in January. We had hoped to finish this study before Easter, but we laughingly said after the second cancellation, "we will be happy to finish by Summer".
This isn't funny!
I am working on some make-up class times.

How frustrating for you!
So sorry for you.
I can hear you singing...
"California Dreamin' On Such A Winter's Day"
That is frustrating. But I am ever so excited! A week from today, I start my very first precepts study. I began my lessons this afternoon with lesson one. I am pumped! And a little intimidated, but Kay Arthur says over and over to persevere and not listen to the enemy of my soul tell me I can't do it.
It has been a whole year since I've been in a weekly Bible study. I couldn't find one in the place we lived last year. I literally started crying today when I was reading the introduction. I love how she calls the readers "beloved."
I'm hoping so much to make connections with the other ladies in the study. We've been here a month and a half, I'm ready to make some friends!
I hope you're staying cozy warm in that winter weather! We've been getting some rain these past couple days, but usually it's nice and sunny here. I love that!
Ann,
I just want to hug you! I am so excited for you. I wish I could be a part of a study with you.
I love it when a woman is excited to study the word of God with others.
I pray that God would meet you as you open His Word and speak to your heart, and bring you a special friend along the way.
Your excitement is awesome!
Thanks so much Chris! I'll be sure to let you know how it's going. :)
So....what lesson should we be on if we are caught up? I'm so confused.
Heth,
We are still on week 4.
We will keep going in order.
Hopefully all this time away will give everyone a chance to get caught up and maybe even get ahead.
I looked at the weather for next Tuesday and right now it looks hopeful!
Chris, I know this is frustrating!! I'm so sorry!
My prayer is that when as the weeks' lessons progress on the "modified schedule" ;) it will become evident why certain lessons were pushed back to certain days. For someone, it may fall on different soil *then* than it would *now.* God's timing...
