By wisdom a house is built,
and by understanding it is established;
by knowledge the rooms are filled
with all precious and pleasant riches. Proverbs 24:3-4

It's the first day of a new school year...
and the new Jr. High student in the home has stated already this morning, "I am so glad we had an orientation yesterday, otherwise I would have died this morning."
Thank you Jr. High principal and faculty for saving my daughter's life.
you are the momma to a drama queen, it is a pretty large club (yes i am a member..for sure..) I am sure you were also a member with the older (girls are so funny!) I am glad the local school officials could help ;-) enjoy some of the peace, i know that my sweet little blonde friend (and i am not referring to you at this point..) is still home ;-) ENJOY!
That orientation is huge. There is so much to be nervous about and it sure helps when they have a good grasp on what is expected and where everything is.
Happy first day of school. Give Coleman a snuggle from me, he's got to be lonely.
And so it begins..again! Jr. High ahh the memories of the awkward years. And the bad dreams of not being able to remember my locker code while realizing I forgot to get dressed.
Wendy's daughter just started jr. high this week, too. And she cried. :)
She said "I was looking up on the stage and I remembered all the things I used to do behind the stage when I was that age and I just hope she's smarter than me!"
Scary place to be - does she have classes with older kids?
Oh yes!! Junior High. The years of hyperbole!! Always! Never!! I would have died!! Everyone is!!! Disaster! Tragedy! The BEST! It's like drama practice all day, every day!
So funny! So true! She is going to be great fun this year. Be sure to post more dramatic moments so we can relive through her the peaks and valleys of junior high!

Oh, hope they have a wonderful day. We've got one more week.
Oh the drama of a girl in junior high!
We start next Tuesday. My girl can't wait! She was all atwitter this morning as I dropped her off to help with the 6th grade orientation.

Oh, that's a HORRIBLE way to go! Death by "lack of orientation" is quite painful, from what I hear.
LOL
I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL school year!!

Nothing like dramatic overstatement. Love it!
