Hunter (7) and my husband called to let me know they had arrived at camp and Hunter proceeded to tell me with sheer seven year old joy and excitement in his voice that their room did not have bunk beds like everyone else, but they had a BIG bed and that they didn't need to bring their pillows because the room came with pillows, two cokes and a couple of reese's peanut butter cups, his absolute favorite. These boys are happy!

Sounds like they are off to a wonderful start to camp! :v)
that would be MY kind of camp! :) he's so cute!
Hope they have a great time at camp. My cabin did come with bunks, no pillows and no candy. Plus, 10 giggling, make-up sharing, sneaking out at 1:00 in the morning girls. Maybe I can have Hunter's room next year.
bless his heart! what a special time to share with his dad!
Ah the simple pleasures of life! I pray they have a really special time together.
That's precious! Hope their time is awesome!
adorable!
and I bet they didn't even need to turn on the lights because his face was probably beaming! maybe you should video tape his camp stories when he gets home. would make great footage a few years from now....camp through the eyes of a 7 year old.
So sweet! I hope they all have a great week!
It sounds like it had a great start!
