Loneliness at Christmas....

Today while doing some dishes I was praying for those who may be experiencing loneliness this Christmas season. Loneliness due to loss, loneliness due to lack, or loneliness due to being alone.

Tonight I read this post by Janice at 5minutes4mom. It is beautiful!

Remember to pray for those who have suffered loss of a loved one, those who are sick among us and for those who serve our country in the armed forces. May they experience the Joy of the Lord this Christmas!

As a fellow Pastor's wife, my heart is burdened for so many during this time that have lost loved ones or are going through a hard time. I'm so thankful for the tender heart of my husband who helps our people to be an encouragement to them ESPECIALLY during this time!

Yes, what a good post. It is good to remember those who are not having such a joyful holiday season! Merry Christmas, and I hope yours is wonderful, though!

What a terrific post. I commented on one of my blogs that some lonely people actually call call centers during the holidays. I remember one elderly lady that cried. I really felt bad that she was that lonely.
