It's tough being a woman

It began today! I am so excited to be offering this study to the ladies of our church. This morning a wonderful group of women gathered to watch the introductory lesson. There were three newbies to our normal Tuesday morning group and that makes me super happy.
Tonight another group of women are meeting. I am excited to see what the Lord will do with this group of 18 - 30ish year olds. This group is not exclusively for this age group but I hope to address some things women are faced with during this season of their life. Mostly, I pray their hunger for God and His word will increase.
A third group of ladies will be gathering on Thursday night in a home. This is something new and we are praying this additional opportunity will allow even more women an opportunity to study the word together.
If you live in the area...join us!

The ladies of our church are also doing this stucy. I read some of the preliminary stuff the other day - look marvelous (nor surprise there!).

Yay! You're doing Esther! We starteed last night and I have been so excited. We had 50 women show up (a large group for us) and I was so encouraged that so many women want to study God's Word!

I pray this study is a blessing to you, Chris.

oh I just love Beth Moore Studies, and this is one I haven't yet done. Anxious to hear how it goes and all the nuggets of truth you find.

This is my first time visiting your blog...love the look. I will be praying for your ladies Bible Study...that each woman receive the gift that God has for her through this special time in the word. I am a mom of five too...ages 14 to 27! Just a little further along on the motherhood road. What area do you live in? My oldest son lives in Colorado too...Denver. We are in Oregon. Blessings.

P.S. to Deidre...

Fifty is a large group by anyone's standards! That's fantastic!
